The Panners Mate at Minerama 2026 - Glen Innes

9th March 2026

The first weekend of March saw us head up to Glen Innes, NSW for the 2026 Minerama Fossicking, Gem & Jewellery Show, held from 6-8 March at the Glen Innes Showground.

Minerama is one of Australia’s best-known fossicking and mineral events, bringing together prospectors, gem hunters, lapidary enthusiasts and families from all over the country. With hundreds of stalls and a strong community atmosphere, it’s always a great place to meet people who love getting out in the bush and searching for something special.

This year we were proud to be there demonstrating The Panners Mate.

Demonstrating the Panners Mate

Throughout the weekend we ran live demonstrations showing how the Panners Mate helps break down material and concentrates Gold, Rubies/Garnets and Sapphires before the final pan.

The biggest talking points were its extreme water efficiency, which allows Prospectors to go where the deposit is - not where the water is - and its lightweight flat-pack design, which allows the Panners Mate to be carried into remote areas where hauling heavy equipment just isn’t practical.

Great Conversations with Prospectors and Gem Hunters

Events like Minerama are about more than equipment – they’re about the community.

Over the three days we spoke with:

  • Recreational gold prospectors

  • Gem and mineral fossickers

  • Lapidary hobbyists

  • Families introducing kids to fossicking

  • Travellers exploring the New England region

Many people shared stories about their favourite fossicking spots, the challenges of processing material, and the gear they rely on in the field.

Those conversations are incredibly valuable for us because they help us continue refining the Panners Mate and understanding what prospectors really need.

Thanks to the Minerama Community

We’d like to thank the Minerama organisers and the Glen Innes community for hosting another excellent event. The show continues to grow each year and it’s clear how important fossicking and mineral collecting are to the region.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, ask questions, and watch a demonstration of the Panners Mate.

We really appreciate the support.

See You Out in the Field

If you missed us at Minerama but would like to learn more about the Panners Mate, explore the website or get in touch.

We look forward to seeing many of you again at future prospecting events - and hopefully out in the bush chasing that next bit of colour.
